Prepare your space suit because GRiZ and friends are once again getting ready to blast Hampton out of the stratosphere. Returning to the Hampton Coliseum this December is Space Camp II, the second edition of GRiZ’s Virginia-based arena takeover. Last year’s trip to the moon featured a well-curated cast of talent who specialized in trippy, intergalactic bass. Nearly six months after GRiZ took over the Hampton Coliseum for his eclectic Space Camp Festival, the Colorado-based producer has released his phenomenal performances from both nights via Apple Music. The sets feature numerous tracks from his latest LP Rainbow Brain as well as classics like “PS GFY” with Cherub, “Good Times Roll” with Big Gigantic, “Ease Your Mind” with Ganja White Night, and “Tiger Kingdom Space Camp.” To no one’s surprise, both sets are filled with fresh IDs for fans to cherish until they finally see their own release date. Over the weekend, GRiZ hosted a massive two-day takeover of the Hampton Coliseum called Space Camp. With performances from CloZee, Liquid Stranger, Moore Kismet, and more, fans were blasted into the depths of the galaxy through the carefully curated lineup. GRiZ Announces Psychedelic Virginia Music Festival, Space Camp
Following a year devoid of music festivals thanks to the wrath of COVID-19, GRiZ is primed for a triumphant return with the announcement of his own curated fest. The electro-funk superstar has announced the debut of Space Camp, a bass music-fueled two-night festival at Virginia’s fabled Hampton Coliseum in December 2021. GRiZ will perform two different live sets alongside a number of his electronic music contemporaries, including CloZee, Liquid Stranger, LSDream, Chee, Common Creation, Kumarion, and EDM.com Class of 2021 artists Lucii and Moore Kismet.
