It’s been nearly eight years since the shocking end of Breaking Bad. The show gripped us for five heart-pounding seasons as we followed Walter White on his journey from timid high school chemistry teacher to globally feared crystal meth kingpin. Fans can attest that the amount of quotable moments from the legendary show is impossible to count. However, you’d be surprised to find that some of the most memorable lines from Breaking Bad just happen to be identical to some big-time electronic music songs. A Breaking Bad and EDM crossover probably wasn’t on your 2021 bingo card, but here goes. “Say My Name” – ODESZA feat. Zyra Who could forget when Walter White uttered this iconic quote and forced Declan to acknowledge him as Heisenberg? It was one ...
Dubstep and bass music producer SNAILS has publicly responded to a number of accusations, including sexual misconduct and forcing fans to drink alcohol. SNAILS, who recently returned to social media after a six-month hiatus, shared a lengthy statement on Twitter in which he denies the allegations. “There have been serious allegations made and I must start by saying these allegations are completely false. Now, enough is enough,” he wrote. “My fans and everyone around me deserve the truth.” “At the beginning of my career my ‘party guy’ persona got me a lot of positive attention from promoters and friends, and it became a big part of SNAILS for that period of time. Partying was part of the culture and I wanted to fit in,” the stat...
After spending much of 2020 off the radar, Snails has emerged from his shell to tease the start of what looks to be an intriguing new chapter. In his first tweet in over six months, Snails dropped a trailer welcoming fans to his “new world.” The famed dubstep and bass music producer’s clip is both exciting and spine-chilling as it depicts one of his signature slugs slithering its way out of a hollowed out eye socket. Snails additionally changed his defaults on social media to sport a similarly slug-infested look. As though those images weren’t ominous enough, the slow-building audio will have you firmly gripping the edge of your seat. Likely an indication of new music soon to arrive, Snails showcases just enough to prove his bellowing “vomitstep” s...

EDM.com wishes a Happy Father’s Day not only to all the dads out there, but also the moms who took on both roles for their kids. To celebrate Father’s Day this year, we connected with some of the biggest artists in dance music, who shared their fondest memories of their father or their children. Break out the tissues because there are some tearjerkers. NGHTMRE “A few years back it somehow worked out that I was playing Sunday of EDC and it was Father’s Day! I flew him out for the weekend and had him hop on stage as a special guest for 1 song. Without thinking much about it I called him “Papa NGHTMRE” over the mic and he has since adopted the nickname. As we walked around the festival after, fans came up to ask for pictures with him! It was a great memory for both of us.” c...
