The Trending Boots That Will Make You Cheat On Your Doc Martens

Coming off the back of Bottega’s dramatic thigh-high track-sole boots, which made waves on the brand’s A/W 20 runway, high-street and high-end brands alike have been offering up their own iterations over the last month. Some come with intricate lacing, and others opt for a more biker boot–inspired finish. Take your cues from Monikh and wear yours with leggings and a loose-fitting shirt for the weekend. Then, for a more polished twist, make like Camille with sheer tights and tailored separates.  You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. Trust Me—These Will Be the Most Popular Shoes in 2021

With track-sole boots becoming virtually ubiquitous earlier this year, it was only a matter of time before the chunky-sole trend infiltrated other types of footwear. That’s why it hardly came as a surprise this season when we started seeing statement loafers launch across luxury and high-street brands.  When it comes to designer brands, Prada has been one of the labels at the forefront of this trend. The Italian fashion house launched a logo-embellished chunky loafer earlier this year, garnering the attention of models and influencers including Elsa Hosk, Pernille Teisbæk and more. (The coveted style has since sold out across multiple platforms.)  Understandably, several other brands have also embraced the trend, with Proenza Schouler adding their signature c...

A long-time favourite of the British high street, the brand has impressed again this season. Never ones to miss out on a great affordable find, the fashion set can’t seem to get enough of Dune’s new drop, full of chunky soled boots and nineties loafers, perfect for taking on the long winter we have ahead.  With a plethora of on-trend styles to choose from, and designs that look way beyond their high street price tags, it’s no surprise that our Instagram feed seems to be flooded with Dune’s new styles right now. 5 Flat Shoes That Are Almost as Comfortable as Slippers

This year working at home, I have been alternating between two pairs of shoes: my sparkly Ugg slippers and my Marks and Spencer ballet pumps that I’d argue are just as comfortable as the former. I’ve found myself wearing my ballet flats in working hours in an effort to “still get dressed” in the mornings without compromising on comfort. When it comes to flats, there are certain styles that are comfortable but still have the same chuck-on appeal of an old pair of slippers. Admittedly, several of the pairs on this list will require a period for breaking in, but once you have softened the leather on your loafers and your feet have adjusted, they’ll be shoes you can walk 10,000 steps in—or from your desk to the kettle and back.  On th...

All the Chunky Boots and Loafers We Are Obsessed With Right Now

When it comes to footwear this year, the general rule is the chunkier, the better. In summer, many of us lived in Teva sandals and chunky two-strap sandals, and for winter, our soles are about to get even thicker. Last year, track-sole boots were the coolest things to have on your feet, thanks to designers like Bottega Veneta and The Row, who gave the Chelsea boot a tougher makeover with thick, sturdy soles. These stomping boots are destined to be even more popular this year, as designers like Prada, Bottega Veneta, and Dior have continued to iterate on these practical chunky boots, and they have also been the dominant footwear trend across contemporary and high-street brands this autumn/winter. There are still dozens of chunky ankle boots and Chelsea boot sty...

The 5 Autumn Shoe Trends You’ll Actually Wear

Autumn is here, and for many, that means swapping out a wardrobe of summer dresses for a wardrobe of cosy knits and a footwear collection of strappy sandals for a few pairs of versatile, closed-toe shoes.  While Carrie Bradshaw may disagree, for me autumn is all about practicality. Given the weather in the UK can be unpredictable, often we rely on our footwear to work double-time, simultaneously completing our outfits in style, while also ensuring we remain warm and dry. And that is exactly where boots come in. From chunky-sole flat boots and lace-up hiker options to dressier heeled boots or stylish knee-highs, boots are the full-proof footwear style that we all depend on throughout autumn and beyond. Black Sabbath Team Up with Doc Martens for New Footwear Collaboration

Dr. Martens x Black Sabbath shoes + boots The OGs of heavy metal have partnered with the OGs of mosh-ready footwear for a new collaboration. Black Sabbath and Doc Martens have unveiled a new line of boots and shoes commemorating the 50th anniversaries of the metal godfathers’ first two albums. Black Sabbath’s groundbreaking self-titled debut is represented with the 1460 Black Sabbath Boot. The 1970 LP’s artwork covers the entire boot, which is complete with a purple popped eyelet, a badge in the likeness of Sabbath’s flying devil-angel “Henry” logo, and two sets of laces. The band’s follow-up, Paranoid, also released in 1970, is represented by the 1461 Black Sabbath Shoe. The low-cut shoe is mostly black while featuring a portion of the album artwork near the back heel. The words “Black” a...

5 Pairs of Autumn Boots That Always Look Good With Jeans

Like salt and pepper and Sonny and Cher, jeans-and-boots are one of those pairings that were simply made to be together. Whether you’re a flares fanatic or dark denim devotee, there’s a boot trend that will complement your jean style of choice, and now that the autumnal weather is starting to creep in, it’s the perfect time to work out what your jeans-and-boots persona will be for 2020.  When looking for a new pair of autumn boots, our recommendation would be opt for a style that you know will go with a wide range of denim trends. Just look at the heeled, knee-high boot: It might seem like a tricky style, but in fact it’ll look just as good under wide leg jeans as it will over skinnys. Or even this season’s combat s...
