Disney announced the news during animation panel at the D23 Expo on Friday. Inside Out mostly took place inside the brain of a young girl named Riley, and the five anthropomorphic emotions that ruled it. The movie starred Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Bill Hader as Fear, Lewis Black as Anger, and Mindy Kaling as Disgust. Due out in Summer 2024, the sequel will be directed by Kelsey Mann with a screenplay written by Meg LeFauve. The long-in-development Beetlejuice sequel has apparently found new life thanks to an unlikely source: Brad Pitt. According to Jeff Sneider of The Ankler, Pitt’s production company Plan B has officially boarded Beetlejuice 2, with the goal of getting cameras rolling as soon as this summer. Sneider adds that original Beetlejuice stars Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder are set to reprise their roles, and Tim Burton is likely to return to the director’s chair. Mel Gibson will assume the role of director for the upcoming fifth Lethal Weapon movie following the passing of the franchise’s longtime movie maker, Richard Donner, earlier this year. The Police Command in Enugu says operatives attached to `Operation Restore Peace’ have arrested 10 criminal suspects for alleged kidnapping, armed robbery, unlawful possession of firearm and fighting in the state. The operatives recovered two firearms, four live ammunition of .9mm calibre, one expended cartridge, two vehicles, one tricycle, one machete and other incriminating items.
