Popular pundit is sure ‘Celtic and Rangers are looking’ at 23-goal star this summer

Aberdeen striker Sam Cosgrove has been in fine form this season and Noel Whelan believes that the likes of Rangers and Celtic will be keen on him. The 23-year-old has scored 23 goals so far this season and he would be a superb addition to either side. Both Morelos and Edouard have been linked with a move away this summer and if they do move on, Celtic and Rangers should look to bring Cosgrove in. Celtic’s new head of recruitment Gary Penrice has claimed that the Hoops are currently monitoring 240 players as they look to make quality additions to their squad this summer and going forward. Hoops head of football operations Nicky Hammond brought in the former Leicester City, Stoke City and Everton scout last month, and despite the suspension of major footballing activities across the globe as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, he has continued to keep tabs on prospective signings.
