Liverpool given go-ahead for Anfield expansion
Liverpool have been given the go-ahead to expand Anfield by around 7,000 seats, taking the total capacity at their historic stadium to more than 61,000. City council planners voted in favour of the redevelopment of the Anfield Road Stand on Tuesday, despite concerns expressed by residents and environmental groups about the impact on nearby Stanley Park. Liverpool, Sevilla join Paul Onuachu chase
Premier League giants Liverpool have joined the chase for Genk forward Paul Onuachu, reports Completesports.com. Onuachu, 26, Onuachu scored 35 goals and recorded another five assists in 41 games across all competitions for Genk this season. Sport Witness cite Fichajes as claiming that Liverpool and RB Leipzig will be Sevilla’s rivals in the race for the Nigeria international.
