LEAKED: Images of Samsung’s 5G Galaxy Z Flip

The pictures, first listed by China’s TENAA certification centre, confirm some key design specs including a new silver colour scheme. The images suggest that the 5G foldable device could be powered by the Snapdragon 865+ as opposed to the Snapdragon 855+ fitted to the original LTE Z Flip – “there’s still 8GB of RAM, but the batteries are listed with capacities of 2,500mAh and 704mAh, compared to the total capacity of 3,300mAh the phone had previously,” writes The Verge. After months of rumors, Google has finally confirmed that its “Nearby Share” feature is on the way. Some Android users are already testing a beta version. “We’re currently conducting a beta test of a new Nearby Share feature that we plan to share more information on in the future,” Google told Android Police. “Our goal is to launch the feature with support for Android 6+ devices as well as other platforms.” The feature started showing up in Chrome OS Canary builds earlier this month, indicating that it will work on Chromebooks as well. Sang Ahn, vice president, and general manager of Samsung Pay in North America, announced via a blog post the “next innovation” in Samsung Pay will, in fact, be a new debit card. The card which will launch this summer will be backed by a cash management account that will be in partnership with SoFi, Ahn revealed in the blog. There will also be some sort of “mobile-first money management platform” developed as well Ahn revealed.
