Diddy set the record straight in response to a viral video clip that resurfaced concerning royalty payments for an uncleared sample he's making to Sting totaling five thousand a day. The clip from"The Breakfast Club" in 2018 showed Sting revealing that the Bad Boy Records founder was paying $2,000 a day for sampling The Police's "Every Breath You Take" for the 1997 hit "I'll Be Missing You". Right Said Fred Says Beyoncé Didn’t Approach Them About “I’m Too Sexy” Sample

A member of the group told a media outlet that he viewed the Houston superstar as “arrogant” for not reaching out to the band to use a sample of their aforementioned smash hit.
