Robert Pattinson has revealed to GQ that he channeled his inner Brian Eno while on the set of Matt Reeves’ The Batman, making ambient electronic music in the Batsuit in between takes. With the movie primarily shot during the COVID-19 pandemic, Pattinson described the set as a “bubble within a bubble” and “insular.” Stuck in the suit and not allowed outside of the studio, the British actor added he “felt very much alone” while always shooting in the dark of night. “You’re not really allowed out of the studio with the suit on, so I barely knew what was going on at all outside,” he explained. The Batman star was built a tent where he could go to decompress and passed the time as best he could. “I’d be in the tent just making ambient electronic music in the suit, looking over the cow...

Not only is this Dark Knight also the longest knight, it instantly becomes one of the lengthiest superhero movies in the history of the genre, slotting in just behind the three hour, one minute Avengers: Endgame. Director Matt Reeves‘ new take on Bruce Wayne’s second job has been given a PG-13 rating, dashing the hopes of thousands of Pattinson stans hoping for a glimpse at the Bat-Penis. Zoë Kravitz stars as Catwoman, and she promised extra-realistic combat after training with videos of catfights. As for the villains, Colin Farrell is unrecognizable in prosthetics as the ...
Self-proclaimed weirdo Bong Joon Ho and documented weirdo Robert Pattinson are slated to work together soon. The Parasite mastermind will write and direct a currently untitled sci-fi film, with the latest Batman in talks to star, as first reported by Deadline. Its protagonist, Mickey7, is killed during his risky expedition in colonizing an ice world called Niflheim. However, his body is regenerated after his death with most of his memories intact. After the rest of the world presumes him dead, Mickey7 then discovers that a clone, Mickey8, has taken his place. (So, what we’re hearing is we might ...
Despite Robert Pattinson’s bone-chilling stare and Gotham City’s perennially dark atmosphere, don’t expect the forthcoming Batman adaptation to get too NSFW. Matt Reeves’ The Batman has earned a PG-13 rating from the Motion Picture Association after predictions that it would end up rated R. Variety points out the MPA rated The Batman PG-13 for “strong violent and disturbing content, drug content, strong language, and some suggestive material.” Sources close to the film say that its foul language is minimal, and the violent scenes tend to focus more on things like car crashes and explosions. Speculation that The Batman would be rated R was largely based around Warner Bros. Picture Group chairman Toby Emmerich’s vision to further distinguish DC films from Disney’s Marvel franchise, whic...
Superhero flicks are notoriously shrouded in mystery prior to release, but as Matt Reeves’ The Batman approaches its March 4th premiere, more details about the film have begun to emerge. Over the weekend, Warner Bros. shared new photos from the film, including closer looks at two of Batman’s biggest foes, Paul Dano’s Riddler and Colin Farrell’s Penguin. Dano’s Riddler gives off a Zodiac-killer vibe in this Batman adaptation, dressed head to toe in army green and covered up with a terrifying mask Penguin, meanwhile, maintains his classic purple suit. Other new photos show the villains in action, as the maniacal Riddler wields some duct tape and the Gentleman of Crime consults his paperwork. It’s not a lot to go on, but it’s still fun to see.
