A father and son are dead with seven others injured after a shooting that took place after a high school graduation ceremony in Richmond, Virginia. The incident took place on Tuesday on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University.

British lawmakers write Commonwealth over killings in Nigeria

Thirteen members of the House of Lords, United Kingdom, have expressed concern over the killings by Boko Haram insurgents in the North-East and Fulani herdsmen in the Middle Belt region. The upper house of parliament members said the failure of the Federal Government to protect Nigerians was a breach of the Commonwealth Charter. They requested the Commonwealth to raise the killings with its Ministerial Action Group. This was contained in a letter to the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Patricia Scotland, dated September 14, co-signed by Baroness Cox, Baroness Kennedy, Jim Shannon, Fiona Bruce, former Archbishop of Canterbury, Lord Williams and 14 others. California Rapper Tay Way Murdered After Posting Video On Instagram

The artist born Lamonta Butcher shared a video of himself walking around in Richmond via Instagram, leading the suspects to a street corner where the violent act was carried out. Several local outlets, including KPIX and East Bay Times, report that Butcher was filming a video using Instagram this past Friday (Sept. 18) in the afternoon hours. South African Airways to continue honouring flight obligations

South African Airways has announced that it will continue to honour its flight obligations to cargo and evacuation flight customers all through this month. This is despite the clash in the expectations of the way forward for the ailing airlines which is already under business rescue. In a statement, the airline says while the disputes are being ironed out ,evacuee passenger and cargo flights will continue all through May on a charter basis. Pfizer, BioNTech dose U.S first participants of trial coronavirus vaccine

Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE announced on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, that the first participants have been dosed in the U.S in the Phase 1/2 clinical trial for the BNT162 vaccine program to prevent COVID-19. The trial is part of a global development program, and the dosing of the first cohort in Germany was completed last week. The Phase 1/2 study is designed to determine the safety, immunogenicity and optimal dose level of four mRNA vaccine candidates evaluated in a single, continuous study. The dose level escalation portion (Stage 1) of the Phase 1/2 trial in the U.S will enrol up to 360 healthy subjects into two age cohorts (18-55 and 65-85 years of age).
