At long last, REZZ has finally revealed details about her fourth album, spiral. After announcing the album’s completion back in March, REZZ built the hype surrounding spiral with a pair of sublime releases, “Hypnocurrency” (with deadmau5) and “Taste of You” (with Dove Cameron). Considering the pop sensibilities of the latter, however, many fans pled for a return to the blistering sound on which she rode to stardom. REZZ eventually revealed collaborations with SVDDEN DEATH’s VOYD and the mysterious Deathpact, the latter of which dropped today. Mum’s the word on whether or not the VOYD record will appear on spiral, but the Deathpact-assisted “Chemical Bond” was confirmed as the first single in a press release issued to EDM.com. ...

Fans of midtempo music are in luck after REZZ dropped the curtain on an unreleased, upcoming collaboration with Deathpact. The song, which Space Mom dropped at a show over the weekend, is rife with signature elements of both artists, who are among the corps d’elite of the midtempo genre. Hypnotic synths and a menacing, saw-laden drop pervade the arrangement for a typically festival-ready midtempo anthem. REZZ revealed the track in late June, when she told fans to look out for it at her forthcoming DJ sets along with an unreleased collab with SVDDEN DEATH’s VOYD moniker. At the time of this article’s publication, REZZ hasn’t announced a title or release date for either track, but the tweet below indicates the Deathpact collab will hit streaming pl...

When it comes to glow-ups, many of us have the luxury of burying all evidence of our braces and bowl cuts deep in the depths of old family albums. But for the celebrities, it’s inevitable for photos from the vault to pop up now and then. So what did some of our favorite electronic artists look like before they were main stage headliners? From childhood portraits to pre-fame head-shots, we’ve gone digging for mementos from the pasts of Alison Wonderland, Flume, RL Grime, and other dance music superstars. Directed by Felicity Heath, the video features a vampiric Cameron, who sinks her teeth in with a sultry, blood-dripping saunter through neon smoke. Cameron, who likened the beguiling audiovisual project to “the kind of nights I dreamt about when I was a kid as to how my job would look,” eventually connects with REZZ and her signature hypnotic goggles before the two engage in a steamy, lip-biting kiss. In her recent cover story with Gay Times, Cameron opened up about her sexual identity. “I’ve hinted about my sexuality for years while being afraid to spell it out for everybody,” she said, recalling an Instagram Live sessio...
