Rilo Kiley’s Jenny Lewis and Blake Sennett Reunite for First Performance in Six Years: Watch

We’ve officially lived a full decade without the existence of Rilo Kiley. Since the band split, singer Jenny Lewis and lead guitarist Blake Sennett have only reunited once, when the latter joined the former on stage at Coachella in 2015 for “Portions for Foxes”. Nearly six years later, it’s finally happened again, as the pair reunited over the weekend to take part in Linda Perry’s Rock-N-Relief livestream event. Lewis and Sennett delivered what could be their first-ever performance of “Let Me Back In”, a single from the 2013 compilation LP RKives. With a masked Sennett playing his acoustic guitar behind her, and a sweet little floof of a puppy on her lap, Lewis sang to camera, checking an off-camera lyrics sheet every so often. Memorized or not, it was a darling pre-recorded rendition, and...

Mick Fleetwood Is Now Open to Fleetwood Mac Reunion with Lindsey Buckingham

Back in 2019, Fleetwood Mac wrapped up an epic 50th anniversary world tour that served as their first proper string of live shows since parting ways with Lindsey Buckingham the year prior. Now, de facto bandleader and drummer Mick Fleetwood has revealed that he wants to do a proper farewell tour with the whole band, including Buckingham himself — marking a dramatic 180-degree turn from where he stood exactly a year ago. In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Fleetwood explained that the coronavirus pandemic has given him ample time to reevaluate his relationships and goals. Arguably the biggest one on his mind is getting everyone back together again to perform live one last time, especially after the band’s celebrated guitarist and co-founder Peter Green passed away unexpectedly last ...

The project benefits Friends of Firefighters. Running from 1999 to 2007, the story of Tony Soprano’s family, co-workers, and shrink redefined prestige television and raised expectations for the entire medium. While the don himself James Gandolfini unfortunately passed away in 2013, some of the show’s biggest names will return for the fundraiser, including Edie Falco, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Robert Iler, Michael Imperioli, Drea de Matteo, Steven Van Zandt, Maureen Van Zandt,...

Drummer Scott Phillips: Creed Reunion Is a “Possibility”

It’s been roughly eight years since Creed played their final show after reuniting for a new album and tour. Now, drummer Scott Phillips reveals that the band members have been talking, and that another reunion is a “possibility down the road.” Creed originally broke up in 2004 after a wildly successful ride in which they sold millions upon millions of albums, and scored such No. 1 rock hits as “Higher”, “With Arms Wide Open”, and “My Sacrifice.” The post-grunge outfit built up a massive following, which also led to backlash from critics and rock fans who perhaps didn’t appreciate the band’s righteous music or felt that singer Scott Stapp sounded a little too similar to Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder. Upon their breakup, three-quarters of the band joined forces with singer Myles Kennedy to form A...

AFCONQ: Kaizer Chiefs confirm Daniel Akpeyi’s Super Eagles call-up

South African giants, Kaizer Chiefs, has confirmed that goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi, has received a call up for Super Eagles’ 2022 Africa Cup of Nations double-header against Sierra Leone in November. The Eagles are billed to face the Leone Stars in a Group L fixture at the newly refurbished Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin on November 13 before playing the return leg four days later in Freetown. Akpeyi manned the posts in the Eagles opening two games of the qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho in November 2019, but missed out of the team’s international friendly games against African champions Algeria and Tunisia earlier this month in Austria. Amakhosi confirmed Akpeyi’s invitation on their website, “Chiefs will be well represented on the international front next month during the internati...

This Is Spinal Tap Cast to Reunite for Pennsylvania Democrats Benefit

The trend of nostalgic virtual reunions is being cranked up to 11, as the cast of This Is Spinal Tap is set to reunite for a benefit livestream supporting the Pennsylvania Democrats. The Spinal Tap gang will hope to hit similar numbers for t...

Dazed and Confused Cast to Reunite for Virtual Table Reading

Alright, alright, alright! The cast of Dazed and Confused is reuniting as part of a “get-out-the-vote” fundraiser in Texas. Donald Trump may be currently indisposed due to an unnecessary super spreader event (and perhaps a bit of bad karma), but the 2020 Election still appears to be on track. To ensure voters in the Lone Star state get to the polls November 3rd, original cast members like Matthew McConaughey, Ben Affleck, and Parker Posey will reconvene on October 11th for a one-time virtual table reading of Richard Linklater’s classic 1993 film. Actors Joey Lauren Adams, Jason London, Adam Goldberg, Anthony Rapp, Rory Cochrane, and Marissa Ribisi are also expected to participate, as will Cole Hauser, Esteban Powell, Deena Martin, Christine Harnos, and Wiley Wiggins, among others. For The Culture: Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff Tour ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ Mansion

Source: Al Pereira / Getty Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff took a tour of the mansion featured on the legendary sit-com show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and it’s a far cry from how it was portrayed when it first debuted in our livingrooms 30 years ago. The video clip shows to the two hip-hop legends standing in front of the white doorway Jazzy Jeff was frequently thrown out of by Uncle Phil (first things first, R.I.P.) throughout the show’s series.  However, when they walked into the home, the decor couldn’t be further away from the posh white-and-beige livingroom set that fans have come to know.  Instead, it’s reminiscent of the poolhouse Will and Carlton shared when they moved out of the main residence on the show.   [embedded content] The pad is decorated with graffiti ...
