Dead Can Dance have announced new tour dates for Fall 2021. The itinerary is technically a rescheduled North American run that was originally slated to begin in April 2020, but was obviously postponed due to the pandemic. As long as the vaccine rollout goes as planned, the Australian goth/experimental veterans are hoping to kick off the tour on October 1st in San Diego and then travel all throughout the country — and up to Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON — before concluding in Seattle on October 25th. The run includes stops in Denver, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco, and elsewhere, so it’s a pretty comprehensive trek across the Northern half of the continent. This will be the first time the duo of Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard will return to North America since their 2013 ...

After postponing their summer North American tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Guns N’ Roses have unveiled the rescheduled dates. The outing will now take place in summer 2021, but will be comprised of six fewer dates than the planned 2020 run. Originally, Guns N’ Roses had 19 North American shows scheduled for this summer, but the 2021 outing will only include 13 concerts. The band cites “routing and venue availability issues” as the reasons why six of the shows have been outright canceled. The 2021 run kicks off July 10th with a headlining appearance at Milwaukee’s Summerfest and runs through an August 19th show at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. The planned 2020 shows that are not being rescheduled or relocated to a nearby venue are Philadelphia; San Francisco; Atlanta; ...
Genesis have rescheduled their reunion tour for 2021. Originally expected to take place in the United Kingdom and Ireland this fall, “The Last Domino? Tour” was postponed due to the ongoing health crisis. Now, Phil Collins, Tony Banks, and Mike Rutherford are set to play their first shows together in 14 years in April of next year. The trek launches on the 1st in Glasgow, with further multi-night stands taking place in Birmingham, New Castle, Manchester, Dublin, Leeds, Liverpool, and London. All previously announced dates are included in the rescheduled run, while a pair of new shows in Birmingham and London have also been added. With Collins unable to drum due to nerve damage he suffered during Genesis last tour in 2007, his son, Nicholas, will fill in behind the kit. Long...
My Chemical Romance have announced the rescheduled dates for their highly anticipated reunion tour, which will now take place in fall 2020. Originally set for this summer, MCR’s reunion was postponed after just a handful of performances due to the pandemic. The new North American dates don’t begin until September 8th, 2021 in Philadelphia, and as the band said in a statement, they “would never want to distract from the challenges we are facing right now.” However, they chose to announce the schedule well in advance “so that we can offer people a refund on tickets in these difficult financial times.” Their statement continued, “It is a long time away, and there is so much for all of us to do to make the world a better place in the interim. We cannot wait to play for you. Take care of each o...
After releasing one of the most popular albums of the year in After Hours, The Weeknd was understandably excited about a massive arena tour. Unfortunately the coronavirus pandemic put the kibosh on that, but the Canadian pop star has now announced that he’s rescheduled those tour dates for the summer and fall of 2021. “The After Hours (Rescheduled) Tour” kicks off in Vancouver in June, exactly one year and a day after it was originally set to commence. The 67-date trek criss-crosses North America until October, at which time he’ll take the show to Europe. All of his old performances have found a new home except for a November stop in Glasgow, the exact time of which is still TBD. He’ll be joined on tour with openers Sabrina Claudio, Don Toliver, and Black Atlass. Check out the full sc...
