According to TVLine, a building-themed competition show is in the works, and both Allen and Richard “Al Borland” Karn are onboard. The TV series, tentatively called Assembly Required, will spotlight talented builders nationwide as they “compete to breathe new life into everyday household items in desperate need of fixing” from the comfort of their home workshops. Singer and television personality Tamar Braxton was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday night after an apparent suicide attempt. According to TMZ, paramedics were called to the Ritz Carlton in Los Angeles after Braxton’s boyfriend, David Adefeso, found her unconscious inside of her hotel room. She appeared to have consumed an unknown number of pills in addition to alcohol. Adefeso told police that Braxton was upset earlier in the day and may have attempted to take her own life. Just one day after Paramount Network cancelled Cops, A&E has turned off the sirens of another hit police show: Live PD. As Deadline reports, the decision to cut the feed on Live PD was made jointly by A&E and MGM-owned production company Big Fish Entertainment. In a statement, the network said, “This is a critical time in our nation’s history and we have made the decision to cease production on Live PD.
