Excision Reveals the Next Chapter of “The Thunderdome”

Grab your neckbrace—it’s almost time to enter the Thunderdome. Outside of Excision‘s world-class festivals, Lost Lands and Bass Canyon, are a number of ancillary events that amass a congregation of headbangers and bass music enthusiasts from all over the world. Ray Volpe’s New Mix Contains 49 Unreleased Tracks from Himself, Adventure Club, NGHTMRE, More

Ray Volpe somehow got every producer in the world to send him an unreleased drop for his latest mix. Just in time for bass music fans en route to Lost Lands or preparing their home for the livestreams, is the fifth and biggest installment in Volpe’s “Banger Zone” mix series. This time around he’s recruited dozens of artists to share unreleased tracks, which he mixed together to create a heavy-hitting, 45-minute romp. Fans of his original releases will have plenty to enjoy, as he’s included several unreleased and fan-favorite tunes of his own in the 51-track tape. Marshmello Drops Unreleased Dubstep Collab With Ray Volpe at Lollapalooza 2021

During his Friday night performance at Lollapalooza 2021, Marshmello dropped a heavy, unreleased single with Ray Volpe. The new track once again sees the masked dance music star team up with a hard-hitting bass music artist, following recent collaborative efforts with Subtronics, Nitti Gritti, and Carnage, among others. Volpe took to Twitter to share a video of Mello opening his headlining set with the never-before-heard collab. “Take it back to the old school shit,” Mello howls before cutting into a heavyweight bass drop. A little under a minute of the new song is played, offering viewers a small taste of the ground-shaking dubstep tune.
