Renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Muhammad Nuru Khalid, on Thursday, alleged that some influential people, including religious leaders and politicians, were the real sponsors of insecurity in some parts of the country. NSCIA: No moon sighted, fast continues

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has directed Muslims to continue fasting through Saturday, as the moon has not been sighted in Nigeria by the National Moon sighting Committee. Libya’s GNA says it is targeting retreating renegade strongman’s forces

Libya’s internationally recognised government has launched air strikes against forces loyal to renegade military commander Khalifa Haftar after his forces announced they were pulling back from Tripoli front lines. Zamfara senator distributes bags of rice to constituents as Ramadan packages

The Senator representing Zamfara West, Sen. Lawali Hassan, has distributed 6,000 bags of rice as Ramadan packages to people in his constituency. The constituency comprises Gummi, Bukkuyum, Anka, Bakura, Talata Mafara and Maradun Local Government Areas (LGAs).
