Coronavirus: Kwara governor urges resident to remain vigilant
The Kwara State Government has urged citizens of the state to remain vigilant and protect themselves against Covid-19 infection despite the government’s success in containing the disease. The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, expressed this yesterday while receiving the Nigeria Covid-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus Committee. Represented by his Deputy, Mr Kayode Alabi, the Governor said Covid – 19 has wreaked havoc in the world but had been contained by State Government’s proactive intervention and public support. Ogun governor, others get coronavirus vaccine jab
Dapo Abiodun of Ogun has become the first governor to receive a dose of coronavirus vaccine publicly. Abiodun posted on his Twitter page he got the COVID-19 vaccine jab in Abeokuta under the Ogun state health commissioner’s supervision, Omotomilola Coker, on Tuesday. “I just had my dose of the Astra-Zeneca COVID-19 vaccine. The doses were delivered today in Abeokuta. It is first service to self then people, when we take the vaccine because we must silence the virus,” he tweeted using the handle, @dabiodunMFR. AC Milan close to signing Fikayo Tomori on loan with buy option
Serie A leaders AC Milan are aiming to secure the loan signing of Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea with a buy option in the next few days, reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano reports. The England international has hardly played for the west London giants this term and he has made only four appearances in all competitions. Blues boss Frank Lampard recently said that Tomori could be loaned out and the Rossoneri are currently the leading candidates to sign him.
