Burgeoning queer dance music duo DAGR have released Fade on Back, an electrifying, seven-track tonal experience from start to finish. Consisting of Ceci G and Veronika Jane Wyman, DAGR were born a day apart and raised in rural Texas. Today, alt-J released a video for “Hard Drive Gold,” the third song off their upcoming fifth studio record, The Dream. deadmau5 and Portugal. The Man are seeking to take their new collaboration Platinum exclusively through the use of NFTs.  In a groundbreaking use case, the artists are minting one million copies of their collaboration, dubbed “this is fine,” on the NEAR blockchain. Fans can pick up a copy via the Mintbase NFT marketplace.   Copies of the NFT are being sold for 0.25 NEAR each, equivalent to around $2.25 USD. In one of the more unexpected reveals in recent dance music memory, it seems that the legendary deadmau5 has been hard at work on a collaboration with Grammy Award-winning rock band Portugal. The Man.  The existence of the track was revealed when a fan tweeted a short video cut from deadmau5’s recent performance at Texas Motor Speedway. Portugal. Aside from being hitmakers, the members of Portugal. The Man are also social activists who champion the indigenous community.
