Avril Lavigne returns to her pop punk roots this week with the release of her seventh album, Love Sux, but apparently, come release day, we’ll be missing out on a whole other batch of bangers. In a recent interview on Kyle Meredith With…, the emo queen revealed that Love Sux was originally meant to be a double album. Written in the aftermath of one-too-many failed relationships, Love Sux is a lighthearted, guitar-driven ode to those protective walls we put up once we’ve been burned by another. Grace McKagan, the daughter of Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, has unveiled the music video for her new song “Baby That’s Rock N Roll.” Grace goes for a garage-rock sound this time around, combining a driving beat with fuzzed-out guitars. Chris Martin has announced that Coldplay will stop making music after 2025, prompting thousands of Facebook and Twitter users to post in unison, “They weren’t making music before.” Via i News, Martin made the announcement in a conversation with BBC Radio 2 presenter Jo Whiley.
