Fox News Has Meltdown Over Minnie Mouse’s Pantsuit

Another day, another round of meltdowns at Fox News. Last week, Tucker Carlson ranted about the “less sexy” female M&Ms, and now Candace Owens is upset about Minnie Mouse wearing pants. On Tuesday, Disneyland Paris announced that the iconic mascot would be getting a chic makeover for the park’s upcoming 30th anniversary. Minnie will be temporarily swapping out her classic red polka dot dress for a chic pantsuit designed by Stella McCartney, all in honor of Women’s History Month. Naturally, multiple Fox personalities spun into a spiraling rage blackout. “This is why people don’t take these people seriously, they are taking all of these things, that nobody was offended by and feel they have to get rid of them and destroy them,” railed Owens in an appearance on Jesse Watters Primetim...

Tucker Carlson is “Totally Turned Off” by “Less Sexy” Female M&M’s

The M&M’s “more inclusive” rebrand stirred up a lot of reaction this week, but no one is angrier about it that Tucker Carlson. The Fox News host dedicated an entire segment on his eponymous show, Tucker Carlson Tonight, to rant and rave about the M&M’s gang’s new look — specifically directing his ire at the changes in the female M&M’s. (Ms. Green traded her go-go boots for a pair of sneakers, while Ms. Brown’s heels were lowered to a sensible, more professional height.) “M&M’s will not be satisfied until every last cartoon character is deeply unappealing and totally androgynous. Until the moment you wouldn’t want to have a drink with any one of them. That’s the goal,” Carlson opined. “When you’re totally turned off, we’ve achieved equity; they’ve won.” Advertisement Related...

M&M’s Characters Receive “Inclusive” Redesign

M&M’s famous talking candies are getting a makeover. Mars, Incorporated announced today that its gang of mascots have headed into the new year with a redesign focusing on “inclusion and belonging.” Both their personalities and looks are getting tweaked, too. According to a statement, the changes include the red M&M “ton[ing] down the bossiness,” while the green M&M has traded in her much-debated white go-go boots for a set of sneakers and a newfound focus on confidence.  The brand also plans to shine more of a spotlight on her friendship with the brown M&M, whose heels have been lowered from stilettos to a more sensible kitten heel — in the name of professionalism. Martin Shkreli Banned from Pharmaceutical Industry, Ordered to Repay $64.6 Million

Disgraced pharmaceutical CEO Martin Shkreli has been banned from the industry forever, and has also been ordered to return the $64.6 million in profits he made by price-gouging the drug Daraprim. The ruling in U.S. District Court in Manhattan on Friday came in response to a multi-state lawsuit accusing Shkreli of illegal and monopolistic behavior.  According to the Associated Press, over the course of a seven-day trial last month, prosecutors presented recordings of conversations that appeared to show Shkreli continuing to exert control over his company, Vyera Pharmaceuticals LLC, while he was behind bars. Those recordings also indicated that Shkreli had plans to prevent generic versions of Daraprim, a life-saving drug used to combat a rare parasitic disease, from being sold. Back in ...

These titles were originally published in 1926 and have reached the end of the 95-year period of copyright protection afforded to works in the US.
