Far-Right, Anti-Gay Pastor Jesse Lee Peterson Allegedly Had Secret Same-Sex Relationships

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Jason Kempin / Getty When it comes to most anti-gay, anti-LGBTQ talking heads, they always seem to have some skeletons in their closet waiting to come out. Manosphere pastor Jesse Lee Peterson might be a perfect example of that. Is Jesse Lee Peterson Living A Secret Gay Life? Jesse Lee Peterson is the token Black man white conservatives and far-right advocates love to champion. He denies the existence of white privilege, is against Black people taking advantage of government programs, and most importantly, can’t stand homosexuality. Patterson also bizarrely believes that “Any woman that is climaxing is becoming a man. Because it’s not normal for women to do that.” What? Well, the chickens are finally coming home to roost for Patterson. The Daily Beast rep...

Senate Candidate John Fetterman Hires Snooki to Troll Opponent Dr. Oz: “Jersey Will Not Forget You”

Despite living in New Jersey for several decades, Dr. Oz is running for the open Pennsylvania seat on the US Senate — something Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman, his opponent, has strong feelings about. To make his qualms clear, Fetterman enlisted a little help from the Queen of New Jersey, Nicole “Snooki” LaValle, to remind Dr. Oz to never forget where he comes from. “Hey, Mehmet, this is Nicole ‘Snooki,’” the reality star says in a Cameo video shared on social media Thursday, adding that she heard Dr. Oz “moved from New Jersey to Pennsylvania to look for a new job.” “Personally, I don’t know why anyone would want to leave Jersey, ’cause it’s like the best place ever, and we’re all hot messes, but I want to say best of luck to you. I know you’re away from home and you...

GOP Tap Dance Artist Herschel Walker Delivered Goofy China Climate Change Argument

HipHopWired Featured Video CLOSE Source: James Gilbert / Getty Herschel Walker, the Republican candidate for Georgia’s U.S. Senate seat, hasn’t enjoyed the smoothest campaign run despite the heavy endorsement from GOP darlings. The former NFL player was on the trail over the weekend and delivered an eyebrow-raising comment on China and air pollution in a now-viral video that puts another ding in Walker’s armor. Herschel Walker was in Hall County, Ga., and over the weekend, journalist Stephen Fowler captured a video of the senatorial candidate fumble through an explanation of air pollution, the Green New Deal, and climate change in general. “Since we don’t control the air our good air decided to float over to China’s bad air so when China gets our good air, their bad air got to move. So it ...

Friends Creator Marta Kauffman Feels Guilty the Show Was So White, Donates $4 Million to an African Studies Program

It took her a while, but Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman is finally ready to face the criticism about her sitcom’s lack of diversity. In an attempt to “course-correct,” Kauffman has donated $4 million to her alma mater, Brandeis University, to establish an endowed professorship in the school’s African and African American studies department. Brandeis’ African and African American studies department was established in 1969 and is one of the oldest such departments in the country. The Marta F. Kauffman ’78 Professorship in African and African American Studies will help the department recruit more students and teachers, as well as support one distinguished scholar in the program. Friends has long been criticized for featuring almost zero people of color in the show, whic...

Lindsay Ell Trolls Fox & Friends by Speaking About Women’s Rights: Watch

Country pop singer Lindsay Ell performed at Fox & Friends’ All-American Summer Concert Series on Friday, and in a pre-show interview, the artist dove into a talking point not normally championed on the conservative network: women’s rights. In an all-around awkward conversation, Ell was chatting with Fox & Friends hosts Brian Kilmeade, Steve Doocy, and Rachel Campos-Duffy when Campos-Duffy first asked the Canadian singer about Shania Twain, a country pop trailblazer and fellow Canuck (The irony of inviting a Canadian singer to an “All-American” concert series is not lost on us). After Ell praised Twain’s ability to be “feminine and sexy and strong at the same time,” Campos-Duffy, grasping at straws in an attempt to be transphobic, went on to reference Twain’s hit “Man! I Feel Like a...

Uncle Clarence Thomas Says Aborted Children Used For COVID Vaccines

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Consolidated News Pictures / Getty A dissenting opinion from Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas took on a strange tone as he claimed that COVID-19 vaccines were made with the cells of recently aborted children. On Thursday (June 30th), the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 to leave a vaccination mandate in place for healthcare workers in the state of New York, denying the challenge brought to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York by 16 workers who claimed that the mandate lacked a valid religious exemption. The workers who filed the challenge were either fired, lost their hospital privileges, resigned, or elected to receive the vaccine. In the dissenting opinion that was written by Justice Thomas, he claimed that the workers “object ...

Conservatives Lash Out at Disney for Depicting a Trans Man Buying Period Products

Since American conservatives aren’t too worried about the Supreme Court’s disbelief in global warming or dismantling of abortion rights, they have to find some nit-pickier topics to get their panties in a wad — like a man shopping for menstrual products in a children’s television show. This week, infamous right-wing writer Christopher T. Rufo  — aka the guy who drummed up last year’s partisan uproar over critical race theory. — tweeted his outrage over Disney+’s Baymax! for one very brief inclusion of an openly transgender background character, sending much of conservative Twitter into a pathetic tizzy. Baymax!, a spinoff of the film Big Hero 6, is a six-part series in which the titular “personal healthcare companion” extends his helpful deeds to the youths of San Fransokyo....

Barbra Streisand Calls Supreme Court “American Taliban” Following Roe v. Wade Overruling

Barbra Streisand has joined a chorus of voices speaking out against the US Supreme Court’s overruling of Roe v. Wade, calling the court “the American Taliban” in a tweet. “The Court uses religious dogma to overturn the constitutional right to abortion,” Streisand said on June 24th. “This Court is the American Taliban.” The tweet came after Justice Samuel Alito wrote, “The Constitution makes no reference to abortion, and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision,” effectively returning the decision whether to allow the procedure back to the states. As such, eight states have already prohibited abortion altogether, while several others are expected to either ban or restrict it in the near future. Everything the Stars Said About Roe v. Wade at the 2022 BET Awards (Updating)

As the 2022 BET Awards celebrated the success and power of Black entertainers on Sunday night (June 26), there was an air of sadness in the room as the ceremony took place two days after the United States Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 case that protected a woman’s right to have an abortion. States can now dictate whether a woman can have an abortion – and it’s expected that the medical procedure will be illegal in at least 16 states moving forward. At least 21 states have laws or constitutional amendments already in place in an attempt to ban abortions, according to CNN. The vote was 5-4 in favor of overturning Roe. “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote in his majority opinion. “Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the de...

Billie Eilish Slams Internet for Depp v. Heard Obsession: “Who Fucking Gives a Fuck?”

Billie Eilish is nothing if not outspoken regarding current events, and her new song “TV” kills two birds with one stone by expressing disgust about both the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard trial and the US Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade. In a new interview discussing the track, the artist questioned the Internet’s strange prioritization of one case over the other, asking, “Women are losing rights for their bodies, so why are we talking about celebrities’ divorce trials?” Eilish debuted “TV” at a Manchester show earlier this month, shortly after the court’s plans to overturn Roe were leaked. In the song, she sings the line, “The internet’s gone wild watching movie stars on trial/ While they’re overturning Roe v. Wade.” The young pop star explained the origins of the track in an int...
