President Buhari seeks NMA support in providing responsive health care system

President Muhammed Buhari has solicited the support of Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in reforming the Health care sector in order to deliver a health system that is responsive to the needs of Nigerians. Buhari disclosed this on Thursday during the 61st Annual General Conference Annual Delegates meeting of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), held in Jos, Plateau State. Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong has expressed shocked over the death of Member, House of Representatives Hon. Haruna Ibrahim Maitala. Maitala died while representing Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency of Plateau State at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly. Nigerian government to implement NIPSS recommendations on population growth

President Muhammadu Buhari has assured that his administration will look into the 12-point recommendations by graduates of National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) on Population Growth and Human Capital Development in Nigeria, with view of implementing them. Ex-convict arrested for impersonating late Abba Kyari’s widow

A 58-year old man identified as Mallam Aminu Ado, has been arrested by men of the Nigeria Police for impersonating the widow of the late Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, in a bid to swindle unsuspecting Nigerians. Nigeria governors meet Wednesday on quick way out of coronavirus effects

The Nigeria Governors’ Forum says it will meet on Wednesday to review the situation of COVID-19 pandemic in various states, and as well find paths for a quick way out of the effects of the pandemic. The forum made this known in a statement by Abdulrazaque Bello-Barkindo, NGF Head, Media and Public Affairs, in Abuja on Tuesday.
