Here’s a Collection of Free iPhone Wallpapers With Unbelievable Photos From Burning Man

Photographer Jamen Percy wants to help you capture the magical moments of Black Rock City. Percy, a member of the Burning Man Documentation Team, has released a collection of free, downloadable wallpapers featuring stunning photography from the 2022 Burn. He says the collection, which features 50 images, is a “gift to the Burner community.” Gifting is one of the 10 Principles of Burning Man, a list of guidelines developed in 2004 by the event’s co-founder, Larry Harvey, that reflect “the community’s ethos and culture.” Percy’s images feature aerial views of the Black Rock City metropolis, the Temple and the Man, as well as the various intricate art installations, structures and mutant vehicles of Burning Man. Revered Hip-Hop Photographer Ricky Powell Has Passed Away

NME is reporting that the triple OG cameraman who worked with the likes of Run-DMC, The Beastie Boys, and Andy Warhol died of heart failure at the too-young age of 59. “I just want to let everybody know he was a very special man, and he will be sorely missed.” Powell began his professional career in 1986 when he left his gig selling lemon ices to join with Run-DMC and Beastie Boys on the Raising Hell tour. Ricky Powell, the celebrated hip-hop photographer who was known as the honorary fourth member of the Beastie Boys, has died at age 59. Powell’s manager and business partner Tono Radvany confirmed that his client had passed away on the night of February 1st. No cause of death has yet to be revealed. “I just want to let everyone know he was a very special man, and he will be sorely missed,” Radvany told Complex. A New York City native through and through, the Brooklyn-born Powell entered photography mainly to stick it to an ex-girlfriend. AIG Yunana Babas dies two weeks to retirement

The Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) of police in charge of Zone 8, Lokoja, Mr Yunana Babas, has died. The Acting Public Relations officer for the zone, Inspector Ruth Awi, confirmed his death to newsmen in Lokoja. She said that Babas, who was due for retirement in two weeks time died suddenly at the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, at about 10:30 am on Jan. 14. She said that the late AIG was in the office on Wednesday, Jan. 13, to attend to his official duty up till afternoon and later left for his house without any sign of illness. TIME named Nigerian physician Tunji Funsho to the 2020 TIME100, its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Fiona Adams, the iconic classic rock photographer who documented the early days of The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and Bob Dylan, has died at 84. According to BBC News, her son Karl confirmed her death at a hospice on June 26th. She had been battling pancreatic cancer. Adams’ photography career early on featured architectural work, as well as assignments related to travel, advertising, wildlife, and general news coverage. It was her pivot to pop culture photography, however, that resulted in Adams’ worldwide fame.
