Manchester United boss rules out suggestions of move for Kun Aguero
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled out suggestions that Sergio Aguero could cross the Manchester divide by joining Man Utd. The Manchester City legend has confirmed that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season after a decade of success at the Etihad, winning four league titles, five league cups and an FA Cup, as well as establishing himself as the club’s record goalscorer. Aston Villa interested in signing Liverpool youngster
Aston Villa are interested in signing the Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster this summer. The 20-year-old striker was on loan at Swansea City last season and he managed to score 11 goals for them. Brewster needs to leave the club in order to play regular first-team football and it will be interesting to see if the likes of Villa can agree on a fee with Liverpool in the coming weeks. Peter Schmeichel labels Odion Ighalo a positive surpise at Manchester United
Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel says Odion Ighalo has been a revelation at the club and one of the most positive surprises ever. The Nigeria forward joined the Red Devils on loan from Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua in January and has performed admirably for the Premier League side. The 31-year-old has scored four goals in nine appearances for the club. The former Watford striker will stay with United until January 2021 after his loan deal was extended last May. “I think he (Ighalo) has been one of the most positive surprises ever,” Schmeichel said. “He has been a revelation at the club and everybody has come to like him.” Ighalo was in action for United in Friday’s 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur.
