Over the weekend, Rezz treated fans to a massive collaboration featuring the rock band, PVRIS. Now, fans who can’t get enough of her music are already gearing up for another big bass crossover. Recently revealed on Twitter, the storied bass producer, PEEKABOO, is currently working on a new song with Space Mom. Seeing as this track is very much in progress, there is no preview available at this time. While much is unknown, it’s a promsing sign that the new song has left both artists “SCREAMING.” At the time of writing, a title or release date for PEEKABOO and Rezz’s work-in-progress collaboration is not yet known. Considering the fact that it was just started a few days ago, fans will have to practice patience as its official release may be far out. ...
Back in November, PEEKABOO quietly unveiled his new side project, Elixir. Eschewing most of the heavy sound design attributed to his previous releases, the lighter sonics have been a refreshing change of pace for fans looking for something a little more low-key. Both a fan and artist favorite, PEEKABOO quickly became one of the bass world’s most treasured producers and Elixir is the perfect outlet for flexing his production capabilities. Hitting the new year running, he recently shared a dreamy new track from Elixir called “Autumn Sunset.” It’s immediately noticeable that his new sound is quite different from many of the hard-hitting, space bass tunes that make up his main project’s library. What they do have in common, however, is the ability to take listener...
It’s tough to follow up a project as epic of proportions as this, but Zeds Dead have done it. The famed dubstep duo finally released the wolves today when they dropped “POWA,” a monster collaboration with fellow bass music heavyweight PEEKABOO. Ever since Zeds Dead unveiled the track at the 2019 edition of Ultra Music Festival, it had become one of their most highly sought after IDs. PEEKABOO then went on to fan the flames of the excitement when he dropped it during Monstercat and Brownies & Lemonade‘s “Home Frequency” stream. The single, which arrived by way of Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats banner, is a ferocious blend of both of their sounds. It’s chock full of vicious, wobbly sound design that ties a bow on what was a monster year for bot...

In two lineups for separate shows this weekend that would make the heart of Dunder Mifflin proud, the newest iterations of the series feature a stable of the most promising producers in bass music, who are set to descend on the Montage Mountain parking lot for twin drive-in raves. PEEKABOO, Champagne Drip, TVBOO, and Sully will perform on Saturday, September 5th while Adventure Club, Wooli, TYNAN, and Codd Dubbz will grace the stage on Sunday, September 6th. In a post-trap landscape that moonlights as an EDM Wild West where artists get extremely creative with unorthodox sound design, PE...
Following Malaa‘s official remix of “Someone Else,” REZZ and Grabbitz have recruited—well, someone else for a monster trap rework. This time around, the electronic music stars have tapped blossoming bass producer PEEKABOO to twist their collaborative hit into a raucous trap rendition. While Malaa went the deep house route, PEEKABOO transported the single to the darkest valleys of the bass netherworld, employing quirky plucks, screeching synths, and thunderous 808s to deliver a festival-ready thumper in a world with no festivals. The Detroit-born young gun has emerged one of the most highly sought-after remixers in bass music at the moment. In a post-trap landscape akin to an EDM Wild West where producers get extremely creative with unorthodox sound design, PEEKABOO i...

Drive-in raves do, of course, come with many caveats due to modern social distancing guidelines instated by local governments to ensure safety amid th...
