Paul Reubens, aka “Pee-wee Herman”, Dies At 70

Paul Reubens, beloved for his Pee-wee Herman character, has died at the age of 70. A statement posted to his social media accounts said that he had been privately battling cancer for the past six years.

Pee-wee Herman to Host Radio Show on KCRW

More than 40 years after Paul Reubens debuted the zany character on The Dating Game, Pee-wee Herman has landed his own radio show. The program will air on KCRW, the popular NPR affiliate based in Santa Monica, California. For now, it is limited to one episode on Friday, November 26th at 6 p.m. PST. To hear Pee-wee tell it, he landed the show after tagging KCRW on Twitter when the station didn’t respond to a letter he had mailed them. An overwhelming response from his fans sealed the deal. John Paragon, the actor best known for playing Jambi the Genie on Pee-wee’s Playhouse, has died at the age of 66. According to TMZ, Paragon passed away back in April, but a cause of death has not yet been determined by the Riverside County Coroner. Paragon got his start in the Los Angeles-based improv comedy group The Groundlings alongside future Pee-Wee Herman star Paul Reubens and Phil Hartman.
