Paul Scheer on Psilocybin-Fueled Weezer Walks, DJ-Sparring With His Wife

One can never accuse Paul Scheer of laziness. Hell, just in this publication window, he has his guest-directed episode of Marvel 616 out, a new live-streamed Christmas episode of his award-winning podcast How Did This Get Made on Dec. 11 and a role in the indie superhero flick Archenemy, out the same day.  Starting in improv at comedy breeding ground Upright Citizens Brigade, Scheer got his first break in 2007, creating the brilliantly bizarre, MTV sketch show Human Giant with Aziz Ansari and Rob Huebel. Mr. Show’s Bob Odenkirk and David Cross Lead All-Star Sing-along of Weird Al’s “Eat It”: Watch

As promised, Bob Odenkirk and David Cross reunited on Wednesday night for the Mr. Show Zoomtacular Annual Business Call Event for Charity. In addition to raising funds and eliciting some good ol’ fashioned yucks, the two strung together what has to be the most star-studded rendition of “Weird Al” Yankovic’s Michael Jackson parody “Eat It”. Joining the two co-stars in the unexpected sing-along were Bryan Cranston, Sarah Silverman, a very bearded Jack Black, Patton Oswalt, Fred Armisen, Al Franken, Paul Scheer, Heidi Gardner, Rachel Bloom, Alison Pill, Amber Tamblyn, John Hodgman, Tony Hale, and Odenkirk’s Better Call Saul co-stars in Rhea Seehorn, Michael McKean, and Michael Mando.
