Anambra election: Valentine Ozigbo receives certificate of return

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the November 6 Anambra State governorship election, Valentine Ozigbo, has vowed to win the state for the party. Ozigbo stated this in a chat with reporters shortly after receiving his Certificate of Return from PDP National Chairman Uche Secondus at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja. The candidate dedicated his victory at the PDP governorship primary to the people of Anambra State. According to him, if elected governor, he would return power to the people by getting the citizens actively involved in his administration. Edo guber: APM vows to resist move by national body to arm-twist state chapter

‎Barely two weeks to the September 19 governorship election in Edo State, the leadership of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in the State has vowed to stand against what it described as an intended time bomb and seeds of calamity being sowed by certain elements at the national level of the party, which if unchecked it said is capable of derailing the country’s democracy as well as breed insecurity in Edo State.
