There are high expectations for Outside Lands 2022. Despite that awful weed pun, read on to find out more about the return of “Grass Lands,” which debuted at the Bay Area fest in 2018 as the first curated cannabis experience at a major American music festival. Green Day, Post Malone, SZA, Phoebe Bridgers and Weezer Feature on Outside Lands Lineup

Green Day are returning to the Bay Area to headline their first-ever Outside Lands. The festival, which takes place in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, will also feature Post Malone and SZA as topliners. Overall, the lineup is strong. Phoebe Bridgers, fresh off her first Coachella, will also perform, as will Weezer, Jack Harlow, Mitski, Anitta, Disclosure and many more. Outside Lands will take place on August 5-7. Three-Day general admission, VIP, payment plan and Golden Gate Club passes will go on sale on April 20 at 10 am PST exclusively through the Outside Lands website. Long one of the highlights on the Bay Area concert calendar, the 2021 edition featured a number of great sets. Day 2 of Outside Lands brought double the energy and double the costumes: with plenty of Ted Lassos, Squid Game tracksuits, Super Mario and Where’s Waldo outfits, San Francisco showed up on Halloween Eve (October 30th) in style. Even more eclectic were Saturday’s epic performances, capped off brilliantly by a one-of-a-kind headlining set from Lizzo. Outside Lands Festival kicked off in San Francisco on Friday (October 29th), and thousands made their way to a sunny Golden Gate Park for a stacked first day. Highlights included two lovely sets from Bartees Strange (one on the Sutro Stage and one acoustic set at “Cocktail Magic”), October Artist of the Month Remi Wolf’s tour de force performance, Glass Animals’ main stage victory lap, and headliners Tyler, the Creator and The Strokes thrilling fans with their biggest hits.
