Barcelona are ready to withdraw Ousmane Dembele from the transfer market. Barcelona are now prepared to give their out-of-favour forward a starring role in the absence of Ansu Fati. The Frenchman has been overlooked in recent months, with Barcelona willing to let him leave, but with 17-year-old star-in-the-making Fati now facing four months on the sidelines with a meniscus injury, the club are set to turn to Dembele. Barcelona and agent Jorge Mendes are in dispute about the length of contract of their teenage star Ansu Fati, according to reports. Diario Sport build on a report from the ‘Tot Costa’ programme on Catalunya Ràdio that the Blaugrana believe they hold an option to extend the 17-year-old’s contract through to 2024, with Mendes adamant that the current deal is set to expire in 2022 with no extension. Barcelona coach, Quique Setien, insists he wants to win the LaLiga title on the pitch. Spanish clubs are waiting for news when the competition will resume.
