Encanto’s “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” (via Walt Disney) can’t be caught in the U.K. chart race, as the hit single enters a seventh week at No. 1. “Bruno,” the longest-running No. 1 this year so far, became the first original Disney cut to lead the Official U.K. Singles Chart. Based on sales and streams from the first 48 hours in the chart cycle, “Bruno” has a “firm grip” on the chart, the OCC reports. “Bruno,” the first original Disney recording to hit No. 1 on the Official U.K. Chart, leads the First Look survey, with Fireboy DML and Ed Sheeran’s “Peru” tussling with Lost Frequencies featuring Calum Scott’s “Where Are You Now” for No. 2. Sea Power sets sail for the U.K. chart title with Everything Was Forever, though the British rock band has a fight on its hands. Formerly known as British Sea Power, the group has notched eight studio albums, including five Top 40 appearances, but never ruled the Official U.K. Albums Chart. That could change if Everything Was Forever (via Golden Chariot) continues to steam ahead. Sheeran and Swift’s latest collaboration debuts at No. 2 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart, for the highest new entry this week. For the very first time, Frank Turner is king of the U.K. albums chart. The British punk rock poet debuts at No. 1 on the Official U.K. Albums Chart with FTHC (an initialism for Frank Turner Hardcore), his ninth studio effort. Until now, eight of Turner’s album have impacted the U.K.’s Top 75 and five have cracked the Top 10, including his most recent release, 2019’s No Man’s Land, which peaked at No. 3.  Turner got even closer to the summit in 2013 with Tape Deck Heart, which peaked at No. 2.
