The Nigerian music scene has been awesome in 2022 and we have had some of the hottest songs on heavy rotations on our playlist. Nigerian artistes like Rema, Kizz Daniel, Asake, Oxlade, and many others held it down by releasing back-to-back hit singles that made an impact beyond Nigeria. This year we had some of the biggest tracks like “Calm Down” by Rema, Burna Boy’s “Last Last“, “Overdose” by Mavins, Oxlade with “Ku Lo Sa“, and Pheelz‘s “Finesse” etc. In retrospect, it was a good year for Afrobeats as many new school superstars like Omah Lay and Bella Shmurda dropped their debut albums.
