Norman Reedus Joins Cast of John Wick Spinoff Ballerina

The John Wick spinoff Ballerina now has some Walking Dead flair to it, because, per Deadline, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) has joined the cast of the film. Little plot details are known about Ballerina, which was written by Shay Hatten and directed by Len Wiseman. What we do know is that Ana de Armas stars, and Reedus joins Anjelica Huston, Lance Reddick, and Catalina Sandino Moreno in the cast. What’s more, Ian McShane will return as Winston Scott, and Keanu Reeves himself has a part of unknown size as John Wick himself. Filming is underway in Prague. As Deadline reports, Troy Duffy, who wrote and directed the first installments, returns to the director’s chair with a script co-written by Flanery. Marilyn Manson has unveiled a new music video for “DON’T CHASE THE DEAD” starring The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus. “DON’T CHASE THE DEAD” was recently released as the second single from Manson’s latest album, WE ARE CHAOS, which arrived earlier this month. The LP debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking Manson’s eighth consecutive album to land in the Top 10. The Walking Dead to End with Season 11

After more than a decade, The Walking Dead is finally ready to rest. As Deadline and EW note, the long-running horror series will come to an end in 2022 after an expanded 11th season. But just as one zombie falls only to be replaced by another, so does a new spinoff of The Walking Dead stumble on in its place. The new untitled series will star Norman Reedus‘ Daryl and Melissa McBride’s Carol, and is expected to debut in 2023. The coronavirus pandemic had already interrupted production on Season 10, pushing the season finale back to October 4th.
