Considering COVID-19 forced the cancelations of many festivals around the world over the past two years, many artists are working to make up performances. A wave of sadness washed over the electronic community when beloved electronic music trio NOISIΛ announced their impending split in late 2019. The iconic drum & bass group originally intended to call it quits at the end of 2020, but their farewell tour was postponed indefinitely due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. IMANU Falls Through Stage at Czech Music Festival, Ends Up in Hospital

One of the best nights of IMANU‘s promising young career quickly devolved into one that ended with him in a hospital bed. The budding bass music producer took the stage over the weekend at Let It Roll, a Czech music festival in the Milovice Airport complex. He appeared alongside a bevy of iconic drum & bass artists, such as A.M.C, Netsky, NOISIΛ, and a collaborative performance by Mefjus and Camo & Krooked.  The fest was eventually hit with inclement weather, as heavy winds and rain walloped the stage and led to a severe thunderstorm, according to NOISIΛ’s Thys. Skrillex has enough unreleased music in his hard drive to make even the most encyclopedic audiophiles swoon. The latest dream collaborator to join the dubstep legend in a studio session is Thys, a member of the fabled electronic music trio NOISIΛ. Skrillex took to social media to share a photo of the two working on new music, as well as a video that did not contain sound. According to a recording of a recent Instagram Live session hosted by pan and shared on Reddit, the electronic music virtuoso subtly announced that a new song between him and Skrillex is releasing next Friday, May 7th.
