HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Jordan Brand / Jordan Brand UPDATE: StockX has responded. A few months ago Nike got into a legal tussle with sneaker reselling website StockX when they slapped them with a lawsuit for selling unauthorized NFT’s of Nike sneakers. But now Nike decided to take things a step further and is accusing StockX of selling counterfeit kicks to unsuspecting customers. According to Bloomberg, Nike went to court to throw dirt on StockX’s reputation by alleging that they purchased four pairs of their own product on their platform website and what they got in return were bandooloo sneakers that were being passed off as authentic. Related Stories In their amended lawsuit Nike went on to state, “Those four pairs of counterfeit shoes were all purchased within a s...
HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Nike / NIke With the anger of the Astroworld tragedy having subsided and people moving on from the horrible events that claimed the lives of 10 people and apparently opened a portal to hell (it did not), Nike will finally be moving forward with the release of the highly-anticipated Travis Scott Air Max 1’s that were supposed to have dropped last December. Hypebeast is reporting that the long-awaited sneaker collaboration will finally be seeing the light of day later this month when Nike drops not only the Travis Scott Air Max 1’s in a few different colorways (“Baroque Brown,” and Saturn Gold” ), but also some “Cactus Jack” Air Trainer 1’s in three color schemes including “Wheat,” “Cave Stone,” and “Grey Haze.” Defining features include Bohemian-patte...
HipHopWired Featured Video Source: StockX / StockX StockX has responded to Nike’s claims that it sold the brand four pairs of bootleg versions of their sneakers. The online marketplace and resale brand is basically saying, Don’t believe the hype. According to StockX, Nike itself has expressed faith in its authentication process and asserts that the latest court motion amount to sour grapes over its lawsuit against its Vault NFT program. They went as far as to say that they can’t be too mad at the job they’re doing considering its own employees use it. “We take customer protection extremely seriously, and we’ve invested millions to fight the proliferation of counterfeit products that virtually every global marketplace faces today,” said StockX in a formal statement shared with Hip-Hop Wired...

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: aqua / aqua For weeks now there’s been talk that Nike will eventually cut ties with Foot Locker and other stores and websites in order to sell their own products and get 100% of the revenue it garners.
