Source: Gabriel Olsen / Getty One of the most popular cable programs might just live another season. Rumors are buzzing that Nick Cannon might be back with Viacom. As spotted on HipHopDX the mogul is said to be back in talks with MTV. Earlier this year the California native got a wake up call when he hosted Professor Griff, of Public Enemy fame, on his podcast. On this specific Cannon’s Class episode the two discussed a myriad of topics but the talk track that went viral had to do with the Jewish community. “It’s never hate speech, you can’t be anti-Semitic when we are the Semitic people,” Cannon said. “When we are the same people who they want to be. That’s our birthright. We are the true Hebrews.” He went on to double down on his view. “The people who don’t have [melanin] … are a little...
Source: Screenshot / Youtube Kanye West has all intentions of continuing his presidential campaign despite the fact some outside observers believe he’s rigging the election for President Donald Trump. In a new interview, the Chicago producer and designer claims the Republican Party isn’t financially backing his campaign, then added the fact he’s richer than Trump. Yeezy, speaking in that measured, media-trained tone that doesn’t sound like the Kanye of old, sat down with Nick Cannon and the host’s Cannon’s Class program on YouTube. In the first part of the chat, West gets immediately into the chatter that he’s dealing with mental demons but it’s clear from the interview that he’s lucid and aware enough to recognize what his journey looks like from the outside. After a healthy defense of Ta...
Kanye West has addressed the speculation that Republicans are paying him to run for U.S. president this year to be some kind of distraction. “Bro, can’t nobody pay me,” West said in an upcoming interview on Nick Cannon’s podcast, Cannon’s Class. “I got more money than Trump.” The rapper also added, “I’m not running for president. I’m walking.” In the interview that’s going live tomorrow (Sept. 1), Cannon traveled to West’s mountain ranch in Wyoming to talk about his life, career and of course, his run for elected office. Aside from his sit-down chat with Cannon, West’s campaign is currently in trouble with Virginia election officials because voters who were identified to support his campaign said that “they didn’t know what they were signing up for,” the Virginia Mercury reported. This is ...

After making public apologies and educating himself, Cannon has seemingly put his support behind Kanye West and the Chicago producer’s 2020 presidential campaign. TMZ reports that Cannon was in Los Angeles at LAX masked up and turban intact, with Lion’s Share News making sure to get the entertainer’s thoughts on West’s longshot run at the White House this fall. From TMZ: Nick was at LAX Friday when the photog asked him what he thought of Ye’s run. Answer: “I love it!” Now, the photog took it a step further and asked if he’ll still be with Kanye when he casts ...
Source: SWC / Simon Wiesenthal Center The Nick Cannon apology tour has officially kicked off. The now-former Wild ‘N Out host, as of right now, paid a visit to the Museum of Tolerance, which was founded by a Holocaust survivor, after his anti-Semitic remarks during a podcast sparked outrage. In a statement issued by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, Cannon reportedly reached out to Rabbi Abraham Cooper, SWC’s associate dean and global social action director, after his rhetoric and apologized to the Jewish community. On Monday (July 20), Cannon paid the center a visit to learn about the Center and Museum of Tolerance’s work while discussing how to “build bridges between the Jewish and Black communities, especially young people.” Along with touring the museum, Cannon was The Hitler Letter wh...

In that same breath, he also called for ViacomCBS to give him full ownership of his billion-dollar Wild ‘N Out brand he claims he was finessed out of. In his newest apology, Cannon takes full responsibility for the anti-Semitic comments that were dropped on his Cannon Class series. “First and foremost, I extend my deepest and most sincere apologies to my Jewish sisters and brothers for the hurtful and divisive words that came out of my mouth during ...
Nick Cannon’s anti-Semitic comments may have cost him a gig with ViacomCBS, but he remains employed by Fox. The network has confirmed that Cannon will continue to host its widely popular reality singing series, The Masked Singer. “When we were made aware of Nick Cannon’s interview with Richard Griffin on YouTube, we immediately began a dialogue with Nick,” FOX said in a statement on Thursday. “He is clear and remorseful that his words were wrong and lacked both understanding and context, and inadvertently promoted hate. This was important for us to observe. Nick has sincerely apologized, and quickly taken steps to educate himself and make amends. On that basis and given a belief that this moment calls for dialogue, we will move forward with Nick and help him advance this important con...
