NGHTMRE Recreated Perry’s Stage and Grant Park for Virtual Lollapalooza Performance

Using an impressive array of green screens, NGHTMRE was able to transport viewers to a simulated version of Chicago for his Lolla2020 performance. For his performance on the third day of the virtual Lollapalooza 2020 celebration, NGHTMRE digitally recreated one of the festival’s most iconic stages. Using green screen technology, the multi-genre producer was able to simulate the dance music-focused Perry’s Stage. Although COVID-19 put a damper on in-person Lollapalooza plans, NGHTMRE’s simulated version of Chicago enhanced the livestream experience by transporting viewers to the stage they longed for. Following the July 9th cancellation of its in-person edition, Chicago festival Lollapalooza has followed in the footsteps of other major music fests, launching its free virtual festival this weekend. Subtronics just dropped a nuclear warhead of a tweet in the form of an announcement that he is releasing a new single with NGHTMRE and Boogie T. The collaboration, titled “Nuclear Bass Face,” will drop next Friday, May 29th, 2020. Considering the track’s title, you don’t need to be a quantum physics professor to figure out that this dream collaboration will most likely be a mammoth dubstep anthem.
