The latest incident has left a Wisconsin community saying enough is enough. On Wednesday (Jun 24), Althea Bernstein, a Black woman in Madison, Wisconsin, sustained second and third-degree burns after she was allegedly set on fire by white men yelling racial slurs while at a stoplight. The 18-year-old EMT, who is studying to be a paramedic and firefighter, says she was on her way to her brother’s house at around 1 am on Wednesday morning when the incident occurred. The social network announced in a blog post that it is rolling out a much-needed new feature that will inform people if a news article they’re about to share is over 90 days old. Facebook hopes this new feature will give users the context they need before they press share. Per Facebook: To ensure people have the context they need to make informed decisions about what to share on Facebook, the notification screen will appear when people click the share button on articles older than 90 days, but will allow people to continue sharing if they decide an article is still relevant. On Tuesday (Jun 23), the Louisville Chief of Police announced the firing of one of the three officers involved in the murder of EMT Breonna Taylor in her home back in March. According to NBC, to Louisville Metro Police Department detective Brett Hankison, chief Robert J. Schroeder said that the detective violated department rules, procedures, and deadly force standards when Taylor was killed. Former Atlanta Cop Garrett Rolfe Charged With Felony Murder In Rayshard Brooks Case

Garrett Rolfe, a former officer with the Atlanta Police Department, has been charged with felony murder. Local outlet WSB-TV reports that Rolfe faces a total of 10 charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal damage, and oath of office violations.
