Source: John Parra / Getty Why rappers continue to get themselves involved in petty street crimes is anyone’s guess, but Florida’s Splash Zanotti seems to have taken things to another level with this latest offense. The Sun-Sentinal is reporting that Zanotti and another man appeared in court last Friday (Dec. 25) in connection with a home invasion that they allegedly pulled off on October 11th. According to the report Kejuan Brandon Campbell (Splash Zanotti), along with Dionte Alexander-Wilcox and Antonio James, forced their way into the home of the victims at gunpoint and demanded they fork over $20,000. What then ensued could only be described as a horror movie. Then the three holed up in the couple’s home overnight, consumed their food and liquor, and forced the woman to drive from...

Source: Oscar Gonzalez/WENN.com / WENN The fashion world has lost one of their most influential tastemakers in the last decade. Pierre Cardin has passed away. As spotted on The New York Times the designer is no longer with us in the physical. Today, Tuesday, December 29 it was confirmed the French native had succumb to old age. While his label did not carry a lot of cache with the current generation of Hip-Hop it did hold a lot of weight with rappers during the culture’s second unofficial golden era. In the late 1990’s and early 2000’s several noted MC’s name dropped him from Big Pun to Nas (“Millionaire look at the sky make sure it’s still there/Ice grill stares and my jewelry is in every year/Pierre Cardin back in a Dapper Dan time/Now flex, angle wrecks, Foxy rock Anne Klein”) on “...
Source: Paras Griffin / Getty It seems disrespect dies hard with Rick Ross. Rozay recently made it clear that he is still not checking for one of his former foes. As spotted on HipHopDX the Miami MC holds nothing back when it comes to interviews. In a recent Q&A with the I Am Athlete podcast he discussed a myriad of topics surrounding his businesses, health and of course his music career. During the conversation with Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson he was asked if he would face off with 50 Cent in a Verzuz battle. As expected the “Gold Roses” rapper kept a buck about Fofty’s skills in the present day. “Would it really be entertaining, music wise?” he asked in return. “You know, I’m a real dude. 50 Cent had some huge records when he had the biggest producers and artists around and was put...

Source: REEBOK / Reebok With Nike and adidas basically reigning supreme in the sports attire arena of the game, it looks like Reebok’s about to undergo a major change. Their parent company, adidas, is looking to cut ties with the struggling OG sneaker brand and keep it moving, sparking interest from known entities. According to Forbes, the German sportswear company has decided to put Reebok on the market due to the lack of interest the brand has garnered over the years, but don’t expect the home of Shaquille O’Neal’s signature Shaqnosis’s silhouette to come cheaply either. Even with the struggles that Reebok has experienced over the decades on the street market (can’t resell a pair of Reebok’s to save your life out here), the asking price for the company is said to hover around a cool $2.4...
Source: Judy Eddy/WENN.com / WENN For many people giving up alcohol can prove to be the hardest habit to kick in a lifetime, but the decision becomes a no brainer whenever drinking becomes a life-threatening vice. Just ask French Montana. In XXL‘s latest cover story, the “Unforgettable” rapper revealed that he hasn’t picked up a drink in over a year due to damage that his partying lifestyle had wrought on his health. It was just a year ago that French Montana found himself laid up in the hospital during the Thanksgiving holidays and though he’d develop a habit of drinking and poppin’ percs like Tic-Tacs, doctors told him alcohol could prove to be the most fatal of the two. Knowing he had to make that lifestyle change that many refuse to commit to (addiction is the worst), Montana chose his...

Source: Paras Griffin / Getty It appears Mulatto is having an amazing year and it’s seemingly spread to her love life as well after fans began connecting the dots linking her to fellow ATL rapper 21 Savage. According to reports, fans of the two rappers are placing them in a low key relationship after the two were seemingly caught on vacation together for Mulatto’s 22nd birthday, despite 21 Savage tagging himself in Miami for the holiday; when just hours earlier, Mulatto posted some photos of herself celebrating her 22nd birthday in a tropical destination as well as photos of her view— captioning the pics “BIG CAKE LIKE ITS MY BDAY AYE” and tagging Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. As pointed out by our sister company Bossip, after On-Site reposted tweets from a party-goer who attended Mulatt...
Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz Looks like one of the Christmas gifts that Cardi B was able to unwrap this holiday season was one that everyone tend to ask Santa for at some point in life: peace of mind. According to AllHipHop, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper scored herself a “W” in court last week when she was finally able to settle a two-year long, $30 million dollar lawsuit with her former manager, Klenord “Shaft” Raphael. In the lawsuit Raphael claimed he was the driving force behind Cardi’s meteoric rise to superstardom as he was the one that got her cast on Love & Hip Hop: New York, and linked her up with the publishers and producers of her breakout hit “Bodak Yellow.” Instead of reaping the rewards of his labor, Klenord claims that Cardi tossed their partnership out the window...
