Source: Michael M. Santiago / Getty Georgia became the epicenter of U.S. politics on Tuesday (Jan. 5) as a pair of runoff elections would help determine which political party would control the U.S. Senate and Congress for at least the next two years. Rev. Raphael Warnock defeated Sen. David Perdue to become the state’s first Black senator and all signs point to Jon Ossoff becoming the state’s first Jewish senator. On the heels of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris defeating President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, the balance of control of the U.S. Congress hinged on the critical Georgia races, which would give the Democratic Party full control of both chambers. Warnock, who is the senior pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, is also the f...
Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz Last night (Jan. 6), the Hip-Hop world got their first scare of 2021 when it was reported that Dr. Dre had suffered a brain aneurysm and was laid up in the ICU of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA. While most of us were praying he’d pull through and be ok (he is!), would-be burglars saw an opportunity and made a beeline to Dr. Dre’s home in hopes of making off with whatever they could carry. Unfortunately what they found were some iron bracelets as TMZ is reporting that law enforcement arrested the group of men who set off to house things from Dr. Dre’s home. Our sources say 4 men were on Dre’s Pacific Palisades property Wednesday around 2 AM. Security spotted them as they were casing the house. Before they could get to the main structure, secu...

Source: Prince Williams / Getty We know that women tend to gravitate to men who can belt out a smooth sounding song out their vocals, but how many women are cool with sharing such a man? We’re not sure but apparently Lil Durk found a few and moved them into his luxury home. In his visuals to “Coming Clean,” the Chicago crooner shows us why it’s good to be him these days as he strolls through his house where a number of women walk around in bras and panties because, well, why not? Showering with chocolate syrup was the only thing that didn’t make sense to us to be honest. Back in Brooklyn Uncle Murda heads to the projects to get lit with his peoples and roll dice and shows everyone how real it is in the field for his clip to “Russian Roulette.” Check out the rest of today’s drops and some j...
Source: Tim Mosenfelder / Getty Snoop Dogg and Eminem are kicking off the new year with new beef and it’s not staying respectful. Over the weekend an Eminem fan account captioned a post on Instagram asking if Snoop was being “disrespectful” when he said during an interview in July that he could live without Slim Shady’s music, amongst other flagrant comments. Catching wind of the post, Snoop jumped in the post to slam Em and the song “Zeus” from his deluxe album Music To Be Murdered By – Side B released last month. “Pray I don’t answer that soft ass Sh*t,” he taunted in the comments. The song in question calls out the Long Beach legend directly. “And, as far as squashin’ beef, I’m used to people knockin’ me/But, just not in my camp/I’m ...
Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz Just because Nicki Minaj is a brand new mommy, don’t think that people won’t still come for her bank account when unpaid royalties, allegedly, are involved. This week the Queens rapper was hit with a lawsuit from Jawara Headly who says that Nicki ripped off his song “Rich Sex” after letting her hear his version of it a little before 2016. TMZ is reporting that Headly a.k.a. Brinx Billions slapped the Queen rapper along with Young Money, Cash Money and Universal Music Group with a $200 million suit claiming that Nicki not only jacked his cut, but even told him it would be “extremely marketable and become a global hit” after hearing his original version. Brinx says he’s known Nicki since 2007, when they met on MySpace, but he’s still pissed his pa...
