The former vice president unveiled his plan that specifically addresses problems plaguing Black America in which he hopes will appeal to the base that saved his campaign and propelled him to the nomination. Biden’s “Lift Every Voice” plan aptly named after the “Negro National Anthem” addresses issues like criminal justice reform, gun violence. It would also set aside funds to help Blacks who have been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 global pandemic. Biden’s plan aims to help Black-owned businesses by supplying more funding. Source: Prince Williams / Getty While the majority of the country is still practicing social distancing on Cinco De Mayo and the beloved Taco Tuesday, it’s not stopping Migos from dropping banger that makes you feel festive–even inside. Late night on Monday (May 5), Migos released their new single, “Taco Tuesday”, featuring a sample from none other than Taco Tuesday enthusiast LeBron James. Last week a snippet of the new single was previewed by Quavo in a video where he and girlfriend Saweetie were in the kitchen, cooking up some tacos, after the song leaked online. “Taco Tuesday” comes one month after Quavo announced that the trio was back in the studio working on their highly anticipated album, Culture III, but due to COVID-19, those plans were shifted into the release of ...
Source: Archive Photos / Getty If we’ve learned anything about racists during Donald Trump’s reign of white nationalism terror it’s that they’ll use any opportunity presented to show their true prejudice colors and that fact proves to be true even during the Coronavirus pandemic. Raw Story, via the San Diego Tribune, is reporting that a man in the San Diego County of Santee took the city’s new mask wearing requirements to a Grand Wizard level when he showed up at a Vons market sporting a Ku Klux Klan hood as if the year were 1926. Naturally, fellow shoppers were shocked not only because the classic KKK hood doesn’t prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (much less sport N-95 capabilities), but also because it was a blatant racist statement made by a man who felt it was okay to rock such a g...

The pair currently share toddler sons Berkeley and Billion, but Camille also revealed in the same court documents she’s pregnant with their third child. Starting today, May 4th, the Governor of Missouri, Mike Parson, is allowing his state to host concerts and other large-scale events. Introduced in the state’s “Show Me Strong” recovery plan, Missouri will become the first in the U.S. to permit in-person live music events since the start of the global health crisis. In a quote obtained by Billboard, a section of the new plan details the now-permitted events. “There are currently no limitations on social gatherings as long as necessary precautions are taken and six feet of distance can be maintained between individuals and/or families,” said Parson. Venues in large cities like St. Louis will not be opening their doors, as leaders on the local level have decided to uphold stay-in-place measures. I...

Source: John Parra / Getty You can’t say French Montana is anything but confident. The Bronx rapper was up to his trolling ways, saying he could beat any rapper in a head to head battle of hits, besides a couple of exceptions. The background here is that the “Unforgettable” rapper was recently thoroughly clowned for his claims that he has more hits than that Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar. So it comes as no surprise that during a recent interview with DJ E Rock on 92.3’s The Bassment, French continued with the “How much coke are you sniffing?” type claims. This time, French said he could compete with anybody—except for Drake and Jay-Z. Well, it’s good to know there are limits to his hyperbole. And he did drop a jewel when he said, “I just want all the underdogs out there, and...
