Alesso Plays “Truth or Drink” with Fan In Hilarious Must-See Interview

In one of his more interesting interviews in recent memory, Alesso played a virtual game of “Truth or Drink” with a fan. Moderated by the popular YouTube channel Cut, the Swedish DJ/producer and a fan had to answer very personal questions from a deck of cards or take a drink in lieu of spilling the beans. By “personal,” we don’t mean your typical “tell us about your childhood”-style questions. This wide-ranging interview went as far as asking the EDM festival headliner if he’s ever had sex to his own music.  In addition to the previously mentioned question, he was asked about before-show nerves, groupies, and drugs, while the fan was asked to reveal her least-favorite Alesso song and to sing a portion of one of his tracks. ...

The film, which is being developed in association with Buddy’s widow Maria Elena Holly and the Holly estate, focuses on his 1958 Biggest Show of Stars tour and ends with the 1959 plane crash outside Clear Lake, IA that tragically took Buddy’s life. “I found myself attracted to Clear Lake because the script tells the tragic story of Buddy Holly and his era in fascinating detail and with vivid characterizations,” Beresford said in a statement (via Variety). “Needless to say, the added plus of all the wonderful music was also a major lure.”...

Source: Suzi Pratt / Getty The Coronavirus Pandemic strikes again. J. Cole’s annual Dreamville Festival for 2020 has officially been cancelled. G-Eazy Covers Bob Dylan and the xx in Latest Quarantine Session

G-Eazy is continuing to show his inner rocker with a new batch of quarantine covers. This time, the rapper took on the xx’s 2009 single “VCR” and Bob Dylan’s classic 1963 track “Don’t Think Twice It’s Alright.” The first cover stays surprisingly true to the original, sans guitar. Producer Christoph Andersson reproduced the song’s electronic elements, with G-Eazy’s auto-tuned voice layered softly on top, mimicking Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim’s whisper-like vocals. The Dylan cover follows a similar format, with Andersson’s dreamy electronics and G-Eazy singing softly. Listen to both covers below. Last month, G-Eazy put his spin on Radiohead’s “Creep,” with help from actress Ashley Benson, and the Beatles’ deep cut “I’m So Tired.” The rapper and Pretty Little Liars star ha...
