Lady Gaga’s ‘Chromatica’ Sets Impressive Pace For Midweek U.K. Chart Lead

Lady Gaga’s Chromatica (Interscope) is sprinting to the U.K. chart title. At the midweek stage, Gaga’s sixth studio album is outperforming the rest of the top 20 combined, the Official Charts Company reports. The new LP, which dropped last Friday (May 29), leads across all formats — physical, download and streaming — and is the fastest-selling vinyl album on the year, based on three days of sales. Across all formats, Chromatica has shifted more than 40,000 chart sales to take top spot on the Official U.K. Albums Chart Update. J Balvin has broken his silence and declared his support for the Black Lives Matter movement. As the music industry enters “Blackout Tuesday” in response to the death of another unarmed African-American at the hands of police, Balvin adds his voice to the growing calls for racial justice. Amazon Removed Racist Images That Appeared With AirPod & Bluetooth Headphones Listings

Amazon says it has removed racist images from listings on its UK site. The Financial Times reports that customers searching for AirPods and Bluetooth headphones were greeted with racist imagery saying racist language like “you n****r” and “bloody n****r.” AirPods and Bluetooth were both trending on Twitter upon the discovery, and one user @benjaminteacher share a video of a customer completely disgusted and cycling through the racist listings.
