Kygo Drops Surprise Album, “Thrill Of The Chase”
“Why not?” is something we say when asked if we want another beer, or deciding to add guac to a burrito. For Kygo, it was dropping a full-length album. The dance music superstar has surprise-released a brand new LP, Thrill Of The Chase. The album, which he hadn’t even announced prior to today, is his first since 2020’s scintillating Golden Hour. Kygo said a few of the songs on Thrill Of The Chase are “different from anything” he’s ever created in the past. That sentiment is most perceptible in “All For Love,” a cinematic banger which dumps his lush sound like sour milk in favor of a darker aesthetic. David Guetta, Galantis and MNEK Join Forces for Dance Anthem, “Damn (You’ve Got Me Saying)”
A trio of dance music superstars have teamed up for a post-summer anthem. David Guetta, Galantis and MNEK today unveiled “Damn (You’ve Got Me Saying),” a high-profile collaboration out now on Big Beat Records. After two years of rinsing out a mythical ID, Chris Lake has finally released the highly anticipated track, “In The Yuma,” by way of his own Black Book Records imprint. A collaboration with Aatig, “In The Yuma” is an uplifting tech house record inspired by Lake’s 2019 Coachella performance in—you guessed it—the Yuma Tent.
