The Jaded Hearts Club, the new supergroup featuring members of Muse, Blur, and The Last Shadow Puppets, and Jet have announced their debut album. You’ve Always Been Here is due out October 2nd via Helium-3/BMG/Infectious Music, and is being previewed with a pair of cover songs in “We’ll Meet Again” and “Reach Out I’ll Be There”. Rock veterans Nic Cester (Jet), Graham Coxon (Blur), and Matt Bellamy (Muse) feature in the band, as do Miles Kane (The Last Shadow Puppets), Sean Payne (The Zutons), and guitarist Jamie Davis. Veteran songwriter and producer Róisín Murphy has announced her first album in over four years. Dubbed Róisín Machine, it’s slated for arrival on September 25th through Skint/BMG. Consisting of 10 songs, the new effort follows up on 2016’s Take Her Up To Monto and the 2015 Mercury Prize-nominated Hairless Toys. Like much of her past output, the LP continues Murphy’s creative partnership with longtime collaborator Crooked Man, aka DJ Parrot, and features varying shades of disco and funk. The song is taken from Reprise, an upcoming collaborative album organized by Roc Nation in response to the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests. Iranian-Dutch artist Sevdaliza has announced her sophomore album, Shabrang. The follow-up to 2017’s ISON is marked to arrive August 28th through her very own Twisted Elegance label.
