Sony Music Japan Launches Hub for Remixes of Anime and Video Game Theme Songs

EDM and video games go together like peanut butter and jelly—and their relationship is about to get a whole lot cozier with the newly rebranded “Sakura Chill Beats” YouTube channel. Launched this month by Sony Music Japan, the first-of-its-kind project will be a hub for official electronic remixes of anime and video game theme songs, with new selections available every Saturday at 1AM PT (4AM ET).  The first track released on Sakura Chill Beats was RetroVision‘s remix of “Ashiato -Footprints-” by the peggies, out June 19th. Steve Aoki Releases Second Naruto Merch Collaboration

Back in September 2020, Steve Aoki combined his love for the Naruto franchise with his flagship record label Dim Mak for a collaborative merch drop. Unsurprisingly, the gear was a hit with both fans of his work and the anime and manga series. Aoki has now revealed that additional items have been created for a second capsule of the collection. On Twitter, he shared images of the 24 pieces of clothing fans can take home. Steve Aoki and his very own Dim Mak Records imprint have recruited the help of an iconic international pop culture brand for their latest merchandise drop. Anime-loving dance fans were stoked to see that featured on his newest gear is none other than Naruto Uzumaki, from the wildly popular manga and anime series, Naruto.
