The main cast from the cult-classic film, Napoleon Dynamite, is reuniting for an animated series that will be released through blockchain technology. According to a Tuesday report from Hollywood news outlet Deadline, the stars from Napoleon Dynamite have all signed on to voice characters in CyKo KO, an animated rendition of Rob Feldman’s comic book bearing the same name, with a 12-minute pilot to launch on Web3 streaming service Rewarded.TV. Warm up those pocket tater tots because the cast of Napoleon Dynamite is set to reunite for a special livestream next month. Officially dubbed “Cyber Dynamite”, the pre-recorded broadcast will feature Napoleon himself (Jon Heder), as well as class president Pedro (Efrem Ramirez), Uncle Rico (Jon Gries), and sideways ponytail’d gal pal Deb (Tina Majorino). Mean girl Summer (Haylie Duff) and Kip’s internet boo LaFawnduh (Shondrella Avery) are also expected to appear, as will a number of other “surprise” cast members. A liger perhaps?
