The Offspring have unveiled a timely music video to accompany their recent single “Let the Bad Times Roll”. The song appears on the veteran punk-rock act’s upcoming album of the same name, due out April 16th. The video shows an exaggerated view of quarantine life, with the subjects experiencing bizarre and frightening situations while stuck at home. One young woman sees her smartphone turn into a scorpion-like creature as it crawls on her face, while another woman is confronted by singing toilet paper and a giant mask-wearing cockroach. Meanwhile, a young man is playing a video game when a cat appears on screen and starts shooting laser beams out of its eyes. Another dude is attacked at home by a bizarre mob, somewhat mimicking the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol building. As a press rele...

Here, NXSTY’s signature sound design is introduced, adding a vigorous twist to the deep house track. Meanwhile the haunting vocals are phased in and out. Vanesa Seco Shines in The Hotel Lobby’s Breezy “Gold” Music Video

The Hotel Lobby is back with their new single “Gold,” a collaboration with Vanesa Seco. While many know Seco as a shuffler and dancer, “Gold” sees her in a new light: as a singer-songwriter. After appearing as a dancer in The Hotel Lobby’s April 2020 single “Superfly,” the duo wanted Seco to hop on the mic, and it was only a matter of time before they had to reunite. “Gold” is the result, an effervescent future bass track with melancholic chord progressions and warm, bubbly saws in the chorus. The track’s bright piano strikes, soaring sound design, and feel-good melodies all blend nicely with Seco’s top-line, which should do well to serve as a launchpad for a solo career. Check out the “Gold” music vide...

Corey Taylor Recruits Reality Star, Movie Actors, and Steel Panther for “Samantha’s Gone” Video: Watch

Corey Taylor’s new music video for his solo single “Samantha’s Gone” is a star-studded affair. The Slipknot frontman recruited the likes of Vanderpump Rules reality star Tom Sandoval, actor Dean Cameron (Summer School, Straight Outta Compton), and hair-metal parody band Steel Panther for the humorous clip. The backdrop is the set of the video shoot for the song, a track on Taylor’s recent debut solo album, CMFT. Sandoval appears as a mulleted frontman of an overzealous indie-rock band that also features Greg Grunberg (Star Wars movies), Latin musician Travis Miguel, guitarist Ace Von Johnson (Faster Pussycat, L.A. Guns), and musician Jonah Nimroy. As they deliver a ridiculous performance of “Samantha’s Gone”, the director (played by Cameron) screams in disgust. When he begs them to stop, T...

While the band apologized profusely, they were dropped from their own Punk in Drublic festival’s lineup and had a series of tour dates canceled. The new single, “Linewleum”, is actually an update of NOFX’s song “Linoleum”, which was the lead track on their 1994...
