Dagrin’s duet partner Lala passes on

A Nigerian music star, Alayande Lola Oladapo Quam, better known as Lala, is dead. Lala became popular following his released hit single, “Idi Nla,” which featured the late rapper, Dagrin, in a duet by the duo. According to a Facebook post by his brother, Alayande Tunde Adisa, Lala died on Tuesday. Adisa, however, didn’t disclose the cause of his death. Lala was a graduate of Project Management at Lagos State University. He also obtained his Master’s degree from the same institution. Dr Dre back to work after suffering brain aneurysm

American music mogul Dr Dre looks back in good health as he returns to the music studio, just a day after leaving the hospital following a brain aneurysm. The 55-year-old music producer and rapper can be seen looking healthy and confident in a photo taken by his colleague, music producer Focus which he shared on his Instagram page on Saturday, dailymail .com reports. Dre kept his look casual as he returned to making music with a simple black hoodie and matching black jeans. DSS quizzes Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage over ‘political statement’

Music producer Don Jazzy and singer Tiwa Savage have been cautioned against making social media comments against the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, after an invitation by the Department of State Security, DSS. Tiwa Savage earned the invitation after she ran a campaign, ‘WeAreTired’, in reaction to a rise in cases of rape in the country. She also made social media posts to draw the attention of the Buhari administration to the issue. The singer and Don Jazzy were invited to the Lagos office of the DSS where they were warned to be mindful of the kind of posts they make on social media.
