Shirley Ann Watts, a former art student and prominent breeder of Arabian horses who met drummer Charlie Watts well before he joined the Rolling Stones and with him formed one of rock’s most enduring marriages, has died. She was 84. “Shirley died peacefully on Friday 16th December in Devon after a short illness surrounded by her family,” her family announced Monday (Dec. 19). The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood was among those mourning her. “We will miss you so much, but take comfort that you are reunited with your beloved Charlie,” Wood wrote on Facebook. Woman Dies After Asake Concert Crush at Brixton Academy in London

A woman injured in a crush outside a London concert venue has died, police said Saturday (Dec. 17). London resident Rebecca Ikumelo, 33, was one of eight people hospitalized after being caught in mayhem outside the O2 Brixton Academy on Thursday night, where Nigerian singer Asake was due to perform. The Metropolitan Police force said she died on Saturday morning. Two other women, aged 21 and 23, remain in critical condition. Sharon Osbourne was taken to the hospital Friday (Dec. 16) in Santa Paula, California, after suffering a medical emergency. The Ventura County Fire Department confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that an EMS team responded to an emergency call at the Glen Tavern Inn at 6:30 p.m. and that a patient was taken to the Santa Paula Hospital. Santa Paula Police chief Don Aguilar confirmed to THR that the patient was Osbourne. THR has reached out to Osbourne’s team for comment. There is no word on her current health status.
